Childrens Publisher CA

First print run, 2018. We stood in the warehouse staring at 2,000 copies wondering if we’d completely misread the market. The cover had changed three times in two weeks our illustrator almost quit. Looking back, that panic produced something real. Our children’s book covers still get made that way. Uncomfortable, iterative, occasionally heated. Canadian kids deserve art that somebody genuinely argued over. We haven’t stopped arguing since.
